Mirrors enter the collections as elements of modern décor and means to define a space. Antes Design’s interest is in fact not only to reflect reality, but also to focus on material substance. The liquid silver stains, which make up the reflecting surface, are combined with natural oxidation processes. The result is an organic, evolving design with spots of light and shade. Stand-alone or integrated to certain pieces of design furniture, coloured glass is occasionally used to filter and interpret reflections, altering them in surprising ways.
